Pam will be giving a talk about how Bromley welcomed the Belgium refugees during the war.
After the Germans marched into Belgium in 1914, life for the locals became very difficult and many Belgians fled to Britain. This often forgotten story of their suffering is brought to life by a local historian.
The talk will be Shortland Library as part of their afternoon Tea & Topics group.
All welcome Refreshments Provided.
