Escape from Belgium: Bromley Welcomes Refugees (TALK)

Pam will be giving a talk about how Bromley welcomed the Belgium refugees during the war

After the Germans marched into Belgium in 1914, life for the locals became very difficult and many Belgians fled to Britain. This often forgotten story of their suffering is brought to life by a local historian.

The talk will be given to the members of Bromley Borough Local History Society, at St George’s Church Hall, Bickley Park Road,BR1 2BE.
